Anywhere from 1-3 feet of snow is predicted for parts of Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska. People are urged to stay home and avoid potentially deadly travel conditions on the roads.
Meanwhile, warmer air in the south will bring severe thunderstorms and the potential for tornadoes and flooding in Southern states like Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
